Your Role

Akkodis is seeking an Engineering Technician for a Contract with a client in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic components while ensuring quality, reliability, and adherence to standard operating procedures.

Rate Range: $32/Hour to $35/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Engineering Technician Job Responsibilities include:

  • Assemble, test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic components and systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

  • Diagnose and resolve electronic faults at the component level using appropriate test equipment and troubleshooting techniques.

  • Perform soldering, rework, and repair electronic assemblies while maintaining high-quality workmanship standards.

  • Follow standard operating procedures, work instructions, and quality guidelines throughout the production and testing process.

  • Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to support product development, process improvements, and technical issue resolution.

  • Meet project schedules and production deadlines while delivering accurate, high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree, Diploma, or Technical Certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field.

  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in electronic assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and repair.

  • Ability to troubleshoot electronic systems to the component level, interpret schematics, and perform soldering/rework activities.

  • Experience using electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and signal generators.

Pay Details: $32.00 to $35.00 per hour
