Job Title:           Engineering Technician
Location:                    Malabar, FL (100% Onsite)
Duration:                    12 Months (Possible Extension)
Pay Rate:                    ($25-33.00)/hr on W2


Description:

My client is searching for Test Engineering Technician candidate to join the team where the candidate will support production and Depot testing, troubleshooting and fault isolation.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings or schematics to perform work duties
  • Work with little to no supervision using a prescribed set of processes and procedures
    Work directly with engineers optimizing test processes and procedures
  • Lean, continuous improvement mindset
  • Using a variety of diagnostic tools, DMM, Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzers, etc., troubleshoot and fault isolate to component level.
  • Possess a positive attitude and the ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail
 
Qualifications:
  • Requires fully proficient job knowledge/skills
  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics
  • Familiarity with National Instruments Test Stand and Linux operating systems
Additional Skills:
  • Good computer skills (Microsoft Windows and Office)
  • Professional attitude and excellent verbal/written communication skills
  • Familiarity with National Instruments Test Stand and Linux operating systems
