Job Overview
Seeking an experienced Engineering Technician III to support an urgent electronics/SOC project. The role focuses on PCB/electronics testing, troubleshooting, repair, documentation, and technical support.
Key Responsibilities
· Support electronics processing and testing for the SOC project.
· Set up and test PCBs, electronic devices, and systems.
· Troubleshoot, repair, and document electronic equipment and test results.
· Read and interpret electronic schematics, engineering drawings, PCB layouts, and artwork.
· Perform testing using oscilloscopes, DVMs, and laboratory electronics equipment.
· Identify and understand basic electronic components and their functions.
· Follow ESD requirements and proper PCB handling procedures.
· Develop test plans, test reports, and technical documentation.
· Communicate project progress, issues, and potential solutions.
· Work independently while maintaining strong attention to detail.
· Manage multiple priorities and meet project requirements.
Required Skills & Experience
· Hands-on experience with Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs).
· Experience with ESD requirements and PCB handling.
· Electronics testing, troubleshooting, and repair experience.
· Knowledge of basic electronic components and their functionality.
· Ability to read schematics, engineering drawings, assembly/layout drawings, and PCB artwork.
· Experience setting up electronic boards, devices, and systems.
· Experience documenting test procedures and results.
· Hands-on experience with: Oscilloscopes, DVMs (Digital Voltmeters), Laboratory electronics equipment
· Ability to create test plans and technical reports.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and manage a complex workload.
