Engineering Technician I

Applies creative and deductive reasoning to troubleshoot Client technical issues, taking proactive measures to prevent recurring faults in complex test equipment and radio hardware. Methodically navigates multi-step testing procedures, clearly conveying routine factual information and project statuses to team leads while proposing actionable solutions to impending obstacles.

Onsite role in Lanham, MD
Due to the national security focused nature of this role, US Citizenship is required for this role.
 Job Overview & Requirements:

• Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs PC hardware, software, circuit boards, and specialized test equipment while performing regular calibration and maintenance.
• Leverages Excel macros and advanced data analysis to document test results, perform rigorous quality assurance checks, and deduce root causes for complex technical failures.
• Highly responsive to direction with a strong willingness to strictly execute orders, seamlessly shift priorities, and multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Highly adaptable professional who excels when collaborating within a large team, yet is fully capable of working independently to manage deliverables and deadlines.

• Accurately follows complex verbal directives and extensive written documentation, with the ability to clearly present work progress, data, and findings during staff meetings.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Software & PC Skills
• Experience in Microsoft Excel (for data tracking, reporting, and analysis).
• Solid general computer/PC operating knowledge and basic networking skills.
• Basic coding skills are a plus
• Test equipment and circuit board troubleshooting a huge bonus.
