Engineering Technician D (Palm Bay) (TS/SCI)

Engineering Technician – Full Time – Palm Bay, FL – Active TS/SCI Clearance Required

We're seeking a hands-on technical professional to help build, integrate, and test precision photonic components as part of a larger systems assembly team. Candidates with backgrounds in electronics, mechanical systems, optics, or machine shop operations are encouraged to apply — photonics experience is a plus but not required. Comprehensive on-the-job training is provided.

What You'll Do:

• Perform fabrication, assembly, integration, and testing per detailed work instructions (fiber splicing, optical alignment, mechanical builds, soldering, etc.)
• Integrate COTS optical equipment per architecture and wiring diagrams
• Support equipment calibration and preventative maintenance
• Maintain high standards for cleanliness, organization, and quality

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/equivalent + 6 years relevant experience, OR Associate's Degree + 2 years relevant experience
• Active TS/SCI clearance (expired poly acceptable)
