Main Purpose of the Role
This position works out of our Scottsdale AZ, location in the CRM Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) division. As a global leader in Cardiac Rhythm Technologies, we focus on innovative technologies that can improve the way doctors treat people with heart arrhythmias or irregular heartbeats. Responsible for the production of high-quality medical device hardware and systems. Includes detailed assembly and testing of various electronic components and finished devices in a controlled manufacturing environment. Demonstrates the ability to understand specific needs and effectively apply technical skills and knowledge. Responsible for supporting production activities by ensuring minimal equipment downtime and maintaining operational readiness. Exhibits a strong sense of urgency in restoring equipment functionality for production use. Performs scheduled preventive maintenance prior to due dates.
Main Responsibilities
Activities include support in setting-up, calibrating and operating basic machines and equipment, following production schedules and quality standards, monitoring production processes, and troubleshooting simple production problems.
Troubleshoots and resolves basic technical problems from the product line/process to minimize reject levels and escalates problems when necessary.
Conducts preventive maintenance on equipment, by cleaning, adjusting, repairing, calibrating and replacing parts.
Resolves resolution of problems including identifying causes to prevent re-occurrence. Identifies and resolve maintenance issues; escalate issues when appropriate.
Maintains a Safety-First mindset in all tasks and decisions to ensure a secure working environment.
Shift: 4th Friday-Sunday 4:00am to 4:00pm
Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma / GED
Experience/Background
0-2 years experience with electronic assembly and test, preferably in medical device industry.
Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting equipment, building and or testing of electronic assemblies.
Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.
