Description

You will play a critical role in optimizing engineering workflows and driving efficiency through the effective use of SAP, directly contributing to the success of our NPI engineering team and the overall Honeywell Aerospace Technologies business enabling delivery of new products to our Customers.

In this role, you will directly contribute towards the success of the engineering design and manufacturing operations by providing critical technical support that includes (but not limited to):

  • Production demand management
  • Parts inventory management
  • Work order management
  • Production parts tracking through proper SAP updates (from incoming to factory floor to shipping)
  • Documenting product completion status through all phases of manufacturing

In this role, you are also expected to collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring the effective use of SAP in engineering operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide technical support and expertise to the engineering team in the use of SAP systems and processes
  • Manage and provide status on engineering production parts inventory on factory floor
  • Manage and provide status on product shipping and receiving related to NPI engineering needs and LRU's
  • Manage and provide status on elements across the IPDS process phases, such as APQP, First Article Inspections, Manufacturing Readiness.
  • Directly handle hardware movement of NPI build units across the site
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SAP-related issues, ensuring the smooth operation of engineering workflows within the IPDS process and Development phases.
  • Optimize engineering processes and workflows through the effective use of SAP
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Associate's degree from an accredited institution in technical discipline
  • 2+ years of experience working with SAP systems and processes
  • Experience in engineering support roles
  • Strong technical and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Must be a US person due to contractual requirements.
  • Must have a pro-active mindset, can-do attitude, a go-getter and perform tasks with independence.

The annual base salary range for this position is $86,000 - $107,500. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate''s work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
