    Description

    Description: - Review safety investigations to interpret and assess the potential root cause, scope and complexity of vehicle issues and their potential remedy options and service impact.
    - Conduct Recall Service analysis, which includes reviewing repair procedures, engineering reports, repair concerns, CAD, tools, time studies, part / fastener / chemical catalogs, ordering & inspecting parts, locating & inspecting vehicles, etc.
    - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to further understand remedy and service solutions and their required parts, materials, and repair operations.
    - Coordinate and lead multiple safety recall activities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy, quality, and on-time delivery.
    - Coordinate labs, tools, vehicles, and parts to support remedy trial remove and install events, for lab activities or vehicle inspections.
    - Participation in lab events, whether as lead or support, and follow up on next steps and documentation of the activity is required.
    - Track project milestone activities, identify risks, provide timely status updates, and ensure follow-through action items.

    Basic Qualifications:
    Minimum of a Bachelor s Degree in Business, Automotive Technology or other Technical degree from an accredited university.
    Minimum 5-8 years of OEM automotive experience, including service engineering, vehicle engineering, vehicle development, technical support, or related technical discipline.
    Preferred 2-5 years of experience with FCA US LLC / *** systems, processes, products, or service / engineering operations.
    Strong Organizational and Project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize accordingly, and provide regular status updates on results, open items, and next steps.
    Must be a proven self-starter requiring minimal management direction, with demonstrated ownership, initiative, accountability, and follow-through to meet required deadlines.
    Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
    Ability to build effective working relationships collaborating across cross-functional organizations at all levels, including leading individuals and teams to acquire necessary information to support remedy service solutions.
    Thorough understanding of automotive systems (suspension, brakes, electrical, powertrain, etc.), with a solid understanding of vehicle diagnosis, repair processes, and dealership service operations.
    Strong demonstration of oral, written, and listening communication skills.
    Position is 100% onsite at Auburn Hills CTC facility. Local travel may be required to contracted service information providers, QEC, assembly plants, vehicle containment or yard-hold locations, supplier facilities, dealerships, and other sites supporting recall investigation and remedy development activities.
    Strong PC skills (Excel, Word, PPT, AI / Copilot, CAD, Outlook, etc.).

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Certification by State and/or National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) in any or all eight areas of automotive repair.
    Understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, and purchasing operations.
    Diagnostic skills in technical subjects required for field support.
    Understanding of EBOM; SBOM; AMPS; Change Notices, CAD.
    Ability to collect and synthesize data into meaningful information and communicate clearly to all levels of the organization.
