Description

Lead E&I MaintenanceLead daily electrical and instrumentation maintenance activities across the facility. Supervise E&I technicians, contractors, and maintenance personnel. Coordinate maintenance schedules and work priorities with Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance teams. Manage preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities. Drive execution of preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability. Maintain a strong field presence supporting troubleshooting, coaching, and safety initiatives. Support electrical distribution systems, instrumentation, analyzers, motor controls, VFDs, and control valves. Assist with troubleshooting and maintenance of DCS, PLC, and industrial control systems. Coordinate contractor activities and ensure adherence to site safety requirements. Support employee development through training, coaching, and performance management. Assist with workforce planning, staffing, and resource allocation. Support plant shutdowns, equipment repairs, and process improvement projects. Monitor maintenance backlog, work order completion, labor utilization, and performance metrics. Support spare parts planning, inventory management, and maintenance materials coordination. Promote safe work practices including LOTO, confined space, and electrical safety compliance. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.A successful Engineering Supervisor should have:Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred.5+ years of industrial electrical and instrumentation experience.Experience within chemical, refinery, food processing, or industrial manufacturing environments preferred.2+ years of maintenance leadership, supervision, or coordination experience preferred.Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, instrumentation, analyzers, motor controls, and VFDs.Experience supporting DCS, PLC, process controls, and industrial networks.Proven ability to prioritize work and coordinate resources in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.Experience with maintenance planning, contractor management, and scheduling.Working knowledge of CMMS/SAP systems and Microsoft Office.Massachusetts Electrical License preferred.Strong understanding of LOTO, confined space, electrical safety, and contractor safety programs.Excellent leadership, communication, and employee development skills.Lead maintenance operations in a critical manufacturing facility.
