Essex Industries is a multi-site aerospace and defense manufacturer serving military and commercial customers worldwide. Our Summer Engineering Internship Program gives students hands-on experience working alongside experienced professionals on meaningful projects that support real business and manufacturing needs. As an Essex engineering intern, you may:

• Complete a meaningful project connected to a department or business need
• Work alongside engineers, operations teams, quality professionals, and other business partners

• Assist with problem-solving, testing, documentation, data analysis, and process improvements
• Participate in professional development and intern cohort activities
• Build your technical, communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
• Present your final project, process, results, and business impact to Essex leaders and team members

What We’re Looking For

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field
• Strong interest in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or product development
• Effective communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate with others and take ownership of assigned responsibilities
• Willingness to learn, ask questions, and contribute new ideas
• Previous internship, project, laboratory, design-team, or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required
