Responsibilities:
Tetra Tech is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to join an established and rapidly growing national program with experience managing projects across a wide variety of client requirements including aspects of environmental planning, compliance, restoration, sustainment, construction management, asset management, and site investigations. This position will work directly for our Coast Guard Team Leader and assist in growing and fostering our 35-year relationship with the Coast Guard.
The ideal candidate will support the execution of design-build and engineering projects targeting a mix of clients with an emphasis on U.S. Coast Guard and other federal, state, and municipal markets. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Physical and mental stamina are imperative. While in the field environment, candidates will be expected to occasionally lift (up to) 25-pound objects. Occasional field workdays can be long with candidates required to be on their feet for extended hours, possibly walking 4-6 miles per day.

Language & Communication Skills: Candidate must be fluent in the English language in order to speak, read, and understand and make themselves understandable to an audience. Accurate record keeping (inventories, maintenance records, purchases, etc.) is also required. Ability to document in writing sometimes complex environmental aspects into understandable language for public review. Must possess excellent writing capabilities and have experience generating reports suitable for submittal to clients. Expected to make verbal presentations including project summaries, technical status, reports, etc.
Other Skills: Candidates must have experience with common smartphone technology and other IT applications as well as a willingness to become increasingly familiar with their use, operation, and support needs of those platforms as they apply to this work. The candidate must possess mathematical skills commensurate with having earned a BS degree in engineering, science or a related technical field.
The salary range for this position is $125,000-150,000. Please note that Tetra Tech considers various factors in determining pay, including, but not limited to geographic location, qualifications, licensures, certifications, experience, and other skills relevant to the needs of the business.
