    Description

    The Contractor Advanced Operations (AO) Project Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the successful execution of New Project Introductions. This individual leads cross-functional teams to deliver projects aligned with strategic objectives, ensuring timely completion and quality outcomes.

     

     

    Position Description (Principle Duties and Responsibilities)

     

     

    • Lead the development of project charters and comprehensive project plans for NPIs.
    • Direct and manage multi-disciplinary teams, evaluating tradeoffs to optimize project success.
    • Collaborate with project sponsors and stakeholders to refine project scope and ensure alignment with expectations.
    • Analyze critical paths and major work streams to maintain project timelines.
    • Develop and oversee risk management plans, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
    • Partner with the project team to define and implement ROI strategies.
    • Estimate, acquire, and assign resources, clearly defining roles, responsibilities, and deliverables.
    • Provide performance feedback to functional managers for project team members.
    • Manage external vendors to ensure deliverables are clearly defined and deadlines are met.
    • Coordinate logistics for onsite programs, including materials, travel, catering, and facilitator scheduling.
    • Support program execution and provide administrative assistance for AO-led training sessions, including calendar management, registration, communications, and attendance tracking.


    Requirements

     

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
    • Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in project management or related fields.
    • Previous experience in the medical devices industry is highly preferred.
