Leading a multidisciplinary team of experts across aerodynamics, mechanical design, testing, procurement, and manufacturing, you'll turn complex engineering challenges into world-class solutions with real global impact.How You'll Make an ImpactMonitor project status against product requirements (Product Requirement Specification (PRS) / Order Entry Document (OED)), ensuring technical, engineering, commercial, and quality objectives are met.Develop the technical Product Design Specification / Project Description (PDS/PB) based on the PRS.Report project status to Engineering Management and escalate critical issues in a timely manner (technical, commercial, quality, or schedule-related).Represent Engineering in both internal and external customer communications, including reports and meetings.Serve as the technical project lead and primary engineering contact for development programs, with responsibility for team disciplines, milestones, and budgets.Developing next-generation combustion hardware that supports Siemens Energy's decarbonization goals while adhering to the Product Development Process (PDP).What You BringMaster's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; a PhD is preferred.3-5+ years' technical engineering background combined with experience managing detailed engineering projects involving gas turbine components, ideally within combustion design. Candidates with more years of experience may be considered at a higher level.Knowledge of agile product development processesStrong presentation skills combined with excellent cross-functional collaboration abilities to develop innovative solutions within multicultural teams.Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
