Engineering Project Manager
At Didion, you'll lead major capital investments that improve production capacity, reliability, safety, and operational performance across our biofuels manufacturing operations. Working closely with Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, and Leadership teams, you'll own projects from concept development through commissioning and startup while helping shape the future of a growing business. This role focuses on leading significant capital projects, managing engineering partnerships and contractors, and delivering results that have a lasting impact on our operations.
Lead major capital projects from concept through startup
Own projects from idea to implementation
Work directly with operational leaders and decision-makers
Partner closely with plant teams to solve real-world challenges

Lead capital projects through planning, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup
Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, contractors, and project risks
Develop scopes of work, bid packages, contractor strategies, and execution plans
Drive equipment upgrades, process improvements, and facility expansion initiatives
Support capital investment planning and business case development
Collaborate across Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, Safety, and Leadership teams to deliver practical, sustainable solutions
Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and aligned with operational goals
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
5+ years of engineering, project management, or capital project experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
Experience leading projects from concept through implementation and startup
Strong understanding of budgeting, contractor management, commissioning, and project controls
Experience in ethanol, renewable fuels, grain processing, food manufacturing, chemical processing, or other continuous-process manufacturing environments preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
