Engineering Project Manager

ENGINEERING PROJECT MANAGER(Permanent)
Our client, a global manufacturing organization in WNY, is looking to add an Engineering Project Manager to their growing team. 

Responsibilities:

• Manage cross-functional engineering projects and new initiatives from inception/planning through execution
  
• Compile team from Engineering, Operations, Quality, and leadership teams
  
• Create budgets, schedules, project charters, and risk mitigation strategies
  
• Clearly define timelines, milestones, and objectives, tracking each as the project progresses
  
• Delegate and oversee responsibilities, ensure projects remain on schedule and internal/external stakeholders are updated/aligned throughout
  
• Identify risks, develop resolutions, and proactively manage each to avoid further complications
  
• Present complex technical plans in a clear/concise manner to a diverse audience
  
• Juggle multiple projects at a time—anywhere from 3-5 is typical, depending on the complexity
  
• Work well in a team environment as well as independently
  
• Other duties as assigned/as necessary
  

Details:

• Position is full-time, direct hire
  
• $90,000 – $110,000 annually depending on experience
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business or related
  
• 5+ years’ experience in project management supporting Engineering/Manufacturing/Operational projects
  
• PMP Certification is a plus
  
• Must be able to access technical data governed by US Export Control regulations
  
• Professional demeanor and ability to interact with employees
  
• Highly confidential
  
• Great interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  
• Strong organization skills, analytical, and time management skills
  
• Meticulous attention to detail
  
• Self-motivated
