Join our dynamic engineering team as a Senior SAP BASIS Project Engineer and take ownership of critical SAP environments supporting a variety of high-impact business applications. Leverage your expertise in SAP administration to build, configure, and optimize complex SAP landscapes while leading technical projects from conception to completion. Responsibilities
- Lead planning, organization, control, and integration of SAP engineering projects within assigned scope
- Build and configure new SAP systems (ABAP, JAVA, HANA) and support existing environments
- Execute system transports at OS level, TMS, and through SAP or third-party tools
- Provide expert technical support for high availability SAP environments and system copies
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across all SAP application areas and landscapes
- Collaborate with configurators and developers to ensure optimal system performance
- Review and approve design changes, specifications, and drawing releases for SAP projects
- Manage concurrent SAP landscapes and support multiple SAP applications
- Engage in technical developments, scheduling, and resolution of design/test problems
- Support SAP go-live events, upgrades, and system migrations
Required Skills and Experience
- Advanced SAP Basis Administration for Netweaver systems: ECC, SRM, XI/PI, Enterprise Portal, Business Intelligence
- Senior-level proficiency in ABAP and JAVA Homogeneous System Copy procedures
- Strong background in networking, Windows, Unix, Linux, and Java for SAP support
- Proven experience supporting SAP go-lives, upgrades, and full life-cycle implementations
- Expertise in SAP troubleshooting: ALE/RFC, IDOC, update processing, system communications, tRFC/qRFC, XI message processing, ABAP dump/DEV trace analysis
Preferred Skills
- High availability system support
- HANA system configuration, cluster management, installation, upgrades, backups, patching
- HANA administration: schema management, SQL, data modeling, SLT, BOBJ
- Experience with CHARM, wiley monitoring, Solution Manager diagnostics
- OS/DB migrations to Linux
- Support for SAP-related tools: Adobe Connect, Virsa, Data Services
- CCMS administration, Enhanced CTS+ setup
- Java Netweaver Administration, SLD strategies
- ABAP debugging, performance analysis
- Rev-Trac, BI performance tuning, SAP archiving, Vertex support
- Fiori/Personas Administration, SAP Cloud Agile practices
