This individual will apply their technical skills to setup, operate, and adjust high volume production equipment. The Engineering Process Technician is a key member of the Operations Team and helping the Process Development Engineers focused on developing innovative processes, equipment, and tooling to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy.
- Perform equipment setup, operation, adjustments, and minor preventative maintenance tasks to meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards for equipment in varying development stages
- Identify problems and potential solutions to troubleshoot issues as they arise during regular production and engineering builds
- Develop operating procedures for equipment or new processes in standard format
- Conduct analytical tests, measure and record data using defined tools and software
- Inspect and test finished product during and after regular production and engineering builds
- Assemble and test manufactured goods for dedicated tooling and or processes
- Able to interpret mechanical and electrical schematics as well as engineering drawings
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel & Word
- Excellent attention to detail, good organization, analytical and reasoning skills
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities including safety/ergonomic concerns and yield and delivery concerns. Lead problem solving for small improvement projects
- Comfortable with frequent change of direction, dynamic work environment and passion to perform time-sensitive analysis under pressure
- Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal
Essential Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, kneel for up to 12 hours a day
- Frequently and repetitively, lift, push and carry up to 35 lbs., including the ability to carry 20 lbs. up and down stairs
- Frequently and repetitively, bend, lift and reach
- Ability to find issues in a work process and receive safety signals using sight, touch, or hearing
- Wearing Personal Protective Equipment, including but not limited to: PAPR, safety glasses, safety shoes, bump caps, and adhering to prescribed safety rules and guidelines
