[Responsibilities]
- Analyze and review machining processes on the production floor to identify inefficiencies and eliminate waste
- Collaborate closely with shop floor machinists to streamline workflows and resolve complex manufacturing challenges
- Lead cost reduction and process improvement initiatives, delivering measurable outcomes
- Serve as a communication bridge between production, quality, and NC programming teams
- Implement and support continuous improvement practices to meet production and quality goals
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and protocols
[Required Skills and Experience]
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing engineering
- Proven background in machined part manufacturing
- Demonstrated success running cost reduction and efficiency projects
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to work effectively on the production floor
[Preferred Skills]
- Familiarity with Mazak NC machines
- Experience in root cause and corrective action analysis
- Proficiency in statistical process control for manufacturing environments
