As our Tooling Engineering Manager, you will leverage your deep understanding of tooling design and expertise in simulation software (like DEFORM) to lead a high -performing engineering department.     Responsibilities:<\/b>

    • Strategic Leadership:<\/b> Provide visionary leadership to the forging engineering department, setting clear objectives and driving strategic initiatives.
      <\/li>
    • Team Development:<\/b> Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high -performance culture.
      <\/li>
    • Process Optimization & Innovation:<\/b> Analyze production activities, identify areas for improvement, and implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.

    • Tooling Design & Simulation Excellence:<\/b> Oversee the design, development, and implementation of advanced forging and support tooling, leveraging DEFORM and other simulation tools to optimize performance.
      <\/li>
    • Cross -Functional Collaboration:<\/b> Collaborate seamlessly with production, quality, purchasing, and sales teams to achieve shared goals and drive continuous improvement.

    • Vendor Management:<\/b> Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment, and maintain service contracts.

    • Technical Reporting & Communication:<\/b> Prepare and present comprehensive technical reports and presentations to communicate project updates, analysis findings, and improvement recommendations.

      Requirements<\/h3>

      Qualifications:<\/b>
      <\/p>

      • Education:<\/b> Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Materials, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
        <\/li>
      • Experience:<\/b> 7+ years of progressive experience in engineering management.  Metalforming experience is required.
        <\/li>
      • Technical Expertise:<\/b> Deep understanding of impression die hot forging processes, materials, and tooling. Proven proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and DEFORM simulation software.
        <\/li>
      • Lean Manufacturing:<\/b> Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
        <\/li>
      • Leadership Skills:<\/b> Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high -performing engineering teams.
        <\/li>
      • Communication & Collaboration:<\/b> Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Strong collaborative spirit.

          Compensation & Benefits:<\/b>

          • Base Salary: $170,000 to $200,000 (commensurate with experience)
            <\/li>
          • Discretionary Bonus: 15%
            <\/li>
          • Relocation Package: $15,000 - $25,000
            <\/li>
