Lincoln Contracting & Equipment is seeking a Engineering Manager who will manage the engineering function of the organization and is responsible for designing, implementing, and reviewing processes and procedures. They are responsible for keeping production costs down, while maintain the quality of the product. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Establishes current and long-range objectives, plans, and policies.Creates a technical vision for the company and plans for implementation.Dispenses advice, guidance, direction, and authorization to carry out major plans and procedures.Reviews operating results of the organization, compares them to established objectives, and takes steps to ensure that appropriate measures are taken to correct unsatisfactory results.Creates technical budgets, allocates resources, and determines schedule of project deadlines.Establishes and maintains an effective system of communications throughout the organization.Analyzes new technologies and runs competitive analyses.Lend guidance to production personnel during implementation of design.Review final product for intent and practical application.Supervisory Responsibilities Leads, and has responsibility for design teams assigned to specific tasks and managing their work to ensure that the tasks are completed on time, within budget, and is of the required quality.Trains, educates, and mentors team members and contributes to their ongoing development and performance evaluations.In addition to the above, is capable of, and responsible for, training and mentoring Drafter/Designers, and participating in their ongoing development.Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree (B.
