Engineering Manager - Plant Operations & Maintenance, Days

Responsibilities: The Manager, Engineering-Facility will organize and manage work requests and projects within a defined area of responsibility; providing customer coordination, project estimation, and scheduling work to accomplish completion, by both in-house and contractor personnel. Maintains a participative, teamwork-oriented environment including recognition programs to acknowledge abilities, development, and achievement of the entire staff, training programs to ensure a culture of learning and growth, and communication to ensure a continuous two-way flow of information.

Responsibilities:

The Manager, Engineering-Facility will organize and manage work requests and projects within a defined area of responsibility; providing customer coordination, project estimation, and scheduling work to accomplish completion, by both in-house and contractor personnel. Reporting of work order completion, P.M.’s and project status is required.

 

Key Accountabilities: 

• Maintains a participative, teamwork-oriented environment including recognition programs to acknowledge abilities, development, and achievement of the entire staff, training programs to ensure a culture of learning and growth, and communication to ensure a continuous two-way flow of information.
• Develops, monitors and tracks the effectiveness of Customer Service to patients, visitors, and fellow employees. Establishes and maintains communication with all levels of Administration and employees.
• Provides direction, guidance, and overall management to ensure operational integrity, financial viability, physical safety, and institutional compliance of all Norton Healthcare facilities. Utilizes a variety of analytical techniques to solve problems and report progress.
• Drives company vehicles on or around Norton Healthcare’s campus or other facilities as assigned and needed.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Five years in facility equipment service and maintenance.
• Driver's License

Desired:

• Bachelor Degree
