Pay $85/hour to $95/hour

What You’ll Do:

• Act as the primary engineering representative for a major client, overseeing multidisciplinary efforts from conceptual design through commissioning
• Develop and implement engineering strategies, governance processes, and decision-making frameworks to meet project objectives
• Ensure technical solutions are compliant, constructible, maintainable, and aligned with owner standards and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate and lead reviews of designs, calculations, specifications, and other critical deliverables at key milestones
• Monitor performance against scope, budget, schedule, quality, and safety targets, proactively addressing variances
• Manage relationships with design firms, vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to foster collaboration and accountability
• Support field activities, ensuring installations meet design intent and operational standards, and facilitate timely resolution of technical issues

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related engineering discipline; PE license preferred
• 15+ years of progressive engineering experience, with significant responsibility for large-scale, regulated manufacturing projects (pharma, biotech, biopharma, or chemical industries)
• Proven track record as an Engineering Manager, Owner’s Representative, or Design Manager on complex projects
• Deep knowledge of cGMP, qualification and validation processes, utilities, automation, and facility systems
• Strong organizational, leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines
• Proficiency with engineering and project management tools such as Microsoft Office, Project, and collaboration platforms

Nice to Have:

• Experience with EPCM, design-build, or integrated project delivery models
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate technical decisions in relation to cost, schedule, and risk management
• Additional certifications related to project management or specialized engineering fields

Additional Requirements:

• Willingness to travel 25-50% to project sites in Alabama and Virginia
