The ideal candidate will have a robust engineering background, extensive experience in metal forming processes, and proven leadership abilities to guide a dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

·Directly supervise and mentor a diverse team of engineers and technical staff, encouraging professional development and fostering a collaborative culture that promotes innovation.

·Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration by working closely with production supervisors, quality assurance teams, and design engineers to streamline operations and enhance overall productivity.

·Design, implement, and refine efficient manufacturing processes specifically for deep drawn stamping applications, focusing on maximizing throughput while minimizing scrap and rework.

·Apply lean manufacturing principles, Kaizen events, and Six Sigma methodologies to identify and eliminate bottlenecks, increasing operational efficiency year over year.

·Provide advanced technical support related to tooling design, material selection (e.g., various grades of steel, aluminum, and specialty alloys), and stamping operations to uphold engineering best practices.

·Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex manufacturing issues, employing root cause analysis techniques to develop effective solutions that prevent recurrence.

·Oversee multiple engineering projects from initial concept through to final implementation, ensuring projects meet established timelines and budgetary constraints while fulfilling customer requirements.

·Establish and continuously improve comprehensive quality control procedures and metrics, conducting periodic audits and assessments to ensure manufacturing processes adhere to ISO 9001 standards.

·Develop and manage robust testing and inspection protocols, utilizing advanced measurement techniques (e.g., laser scanning, CMM) to guarantee product reliability and safety.

·Prepare and manage departmental budgets, conducting cost analyses to identify potential savings and justify capital expenditures for process upgrades and equipment acquisitions while maintaining high-quality output.

·Collaborate closely with suppliers and vendors to source high-quality materials and components, negotiating favorable terms and establishing long-term partnerships that benefit production efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

·Ensure all manufacturing processes fully comply with industry regulations, ISO standards, and environmental guidelines. Maintain awareness of changes in regulations and anticipate their impact on production practices.

Qualifications:

·Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering field (Master’s degree or relevant certifications preferred).

·A minimum of [insert years] years of directly related experience in metal stamping, with specific expertise in deep drawn processes and high-volume production environments.

·Demonstrated leadership skills, with proven success in managing teams in manufacturing settings and achieving key performance metrics.
