Engineering Manager

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
• 7-10 years of design and/or manufacturing engineering experience
• Strong technical background, especially in metals, elastomers, plastics, and machine design
• 5 years of engineering management experience in manufacturing
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (Autodesk preferred), ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with regulatory standards for Medical, Aerospace, Defense, and Transportation industries
• Excellent communication skills for customer interactions and team leadership
• Ability to manage multiple detailed tasks and adapt to continuous change

Responsibilities:

• Direct custom product development, providing technical review and hands-on assistance
• Lead cross-functional teams to resolve issues, improve processes, and meet company objectives
• Monitor engineering team KPIs and manage resources effectively
• Guide complex projects, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery standards are met
• Develop engineering team through goal-setting, performance reviews, and mentoring
• Establish best practices and manage special projects from inception to implementation
• Foster open communication and maximize team potential
• Identify and implement process improvements and innovative solutions
