My client is seeking an Engineering Manager who will provide leadership and hands-on technical support across manufacturing operations while collaborating closely with quality, operations, process engineering, and customer-facing teams. This individual will drive operational excellence, lead engineering projects, oversee validation activities, and champion continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility.

Description

The Engineering Manager will report into the Director of Operations and be responsible for:

  • Lead manufacturing engineering efforts supporting production, quality, and operational objectives.
  • Drive new product introductions, product launches, and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Oversee process and test method validation activities, including IQ, OQ, PQ, and PPQ protocols.
  • Champion Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize process flow.
  • Utilize structured problem-solving methodologies and data-driven decision making to improve manufacturing performance.
  • Lead cross-functional projects involving operations, quality, finance, sales, and other key stakeholders.
  • Develop, mentor, and manage engineering talent while fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to support technical and business objectives.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
  • Leadership experience within a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, validation protocols, and quality systems.
  • Experience driving Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, DMAIC, or other continuous improvement programs.
  • Strong statistical analysis, root cause problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive initiatives through completion.
