Engineering Manager (industrial equipment)

Established industrial equipment engineering & manufacturing company has an opening for an Engineering Manager. Direct hire position with competitive benefits!

Duties:

• Manage and mentor a team of 6-8 engineers
• Manage department workload planning, prioritization, and resource allocation to meet deadlines and project goals
• Oversee employee personnel matters – includes hiring, performance evaluations, setting individual goals, and professional development
• Review and approve design work, engineering analyses, and technical documentation
• Provide technical guidance to resolve complex design and manufacturing challenges
• Track and improve key performance indicators (KPIs), including on-time delivery, quality, and engineering productivity

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or similar discipline
• 8+ years of mechanical design and/or product development experience
• 2+ years of engineering management experience
• Heat transfer and/or HVAC equipment experience a big plus
• Proficiency using 3D CAD (SolidWorks a plus)
• Ability to work onsite full time
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check

Salary: $130-165K
