Job Description
The Engineering Manager will report into the Director of Engineering and be responsible for:
- Leading and developing a team of applications engineers, development engineers, and technicians.
- Mentoring team members and supporting professional growth and succession planning.
- Partnering with commercial teams to understand customer requirements and develop tailored technical solutions.
- Engaging directly with key customers to address technical challenges, support product evaluations, and strengthen long-term relationships.
- Translating customer and market requirements into product specifications and development priorities.
- Collaborating with global engineering and R&D teams to advance existing products and introduce new technologies.
- Overseeing testing, validation, and qualification activities for new products and custom solutions.
- Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Product Management, and Engineering teams to align business and technical objectives.
- Serving as a technical resource for internal teams and customers.
- Driving innovation and continuous improvement initiatives across the engineering organization.

The Successful Applicant
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering or a related discipline (Masters is a plus)
- 10+ years of related experience preferably in motion control product development.
- Demonstrated success in customer-facing engineering, applications engineering, product development, and technical leadership.
- Strong background in electromechanical systems, signal processing, and sensor technology.
- Proficiency in CAD software, product lifecycle management, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
