Job Description

The Engineering Manager will report into the Director of Engineering and be responsible for:

  • Leading and developing a team of applications engineers, development engineers, and technicians.
  • Mentoring team members and supporting professional growth and succession planning.
  • Partnering with commercial teams to understand customer requirements and develop tailored technical solutions.
  • Engaging directly with key customers to address technical challenges, support product evaluations, and strengthen long-term relationships.
  • Translating customer and market requirements into product specifications and development priorities.
  • Collaborating with global engineering and R&D teams to advance existing products and introduce new technologies.
  • Overseeing testing, validation, and qualification activities for new products and custom solutions.
  • Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Product Management, and Engineering teams to align business and technical objectives.
  • Serving as a technical resource for internal teams and customers.
  • Driving innovation and continuous improvement initiatives across the engineering organization.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering or a related discipline (Masters is a plus)
  • 10+ years of related experience preferably in motion control product development.
  • Demonstrated success in customer-facing engineering, applications engineering, product development, and technical leadership.
  • Strong background in electromechanical systems, signal processing, and sensor technology.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, product lifecycle management, and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
