Engineering Manager

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 7–10 years of engineering leadership and product development experience
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
• Experience managing complex engineering projects, documentation, BOM creation, and configuration control
• Knowledge of automotive powertrain, performance aftermarket, or high-mechanical systems
• Experience with DFMEA and PPAP documentation processes
• Ability to build structured systems for managing engineering deliverables
• Supporting: Experience with phase gate and NPD systems, managing documentation and testing data

Responsibilities

• Build structured systems for managing engineering deliverables, including drawings, CAD models, BOMs, testing data, and release packages
• Overhaul current documentation methods to more scalable solutions over time
• Review and approve designs, engineering calculations, SolidWorks models, and production documentation
• Collaborate closely with Operations, CNC/Machining, Assembly, and Quality teams to ensure smooth hand-off from engineering to production
• Lead engineering process improvements to support scaling and operational efficiency
