The Department of Engineering in the College of Arts and Sciences at Loyola University Chicago seeks qualified candidates for a one-year appointment as Full-Time Instructor beginning Fall 2026. Our ABET-accredited engineering program emphasizes hands-on learning, small class sizes, and close faculty mentorship. Students build a strong engineering foundation before specializing in biomedical, computer, or environmental engineering, with opportunities for design projects, laboratory work, and capstone experiences. We welcome applications from candidates with strong teaching expertise in one or more of the following areas: digital electronics and digital systems design; computer architecture; embedded systems and microcontrollers; and artificial intelligence and machine learning.
