JOB TITLE: FPGA Design/Verification Engineer
LOCATION:Littleton, CO
PAY RATE: $113.08/hour

Summary:

  • Performs ASIC and FPGA development on research and development programs.

  • Develops, tests, and integrates digital signal processing (DSP), high-speed digital design, high-speed communication, and system-on-chip (SOC) implemented on FPGA platforms.

  • Works with COTS-based control platforms and embedded processors on FPGA platforms.

  • Develops automation scripts to improve FPGA development efforts.

  • Collaborates with Systems Architects, RF/Analog and Digital Circuit designers, and ASIC/FPGA engineers for complex systems employing high-speed networking concepts.

  • Contributes to design, simulation, verification, integration, and test of complex, high-speed products.

  • Applies HDL programming with VHDL, Verilog, and SystemVerilog for FPGA and ASIC development.

  • Performs verification of digital ASICs, FPGAs, and mixed-signal ASICs or FPGAs.

  • Applies space system design experience to hardware requirements for space applications.

  • Supports integration and test of complex, high-speed products with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

  • Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent experience and combined education.

  • Experience in verification of digital ASICs, FPGAs, or mixed-signal ASICs or FPGAs.

  • HDL programming experience with VHDL, Verilog, and SystemVerilog.

  • Experience developing, testing, and integrating digital signal processing (DSP) on FPGA platforms.

  • Experience with high-speed digital design on FPGA platforms.

  • Experience with system-on-chip (SOC) implemented on FPGA platforms.

  • Experience with COTS-based control platforms and embedded processors on FPGA platforms.

  • Preferred: Experience leading ASIC projects and space system design experience.
