    Mission

    The Engineering Facilitator provides crucial operational and logistical support to the engineering team. By taking ownership of non-engineering tasks, this role ensures engineering experts remain focused on high-level, technical priorities. The ideal candidate is highly responsible, reliable, and an exceptional communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Operations & Project Coordination:

    • Perform spreadsheet/business analysis and track ongoing project management tasks.

    • Manage issue logs for testing results and document lab test issues.

    • Coordinate facilities and vehicle work orders, delivering assets to shops or labs.

    • Support second-shift lab operations and maintain a safe working environment.

    • Escort external visitors into facilities and log details in the visitor access database.

    • Vehicle & Fleet Management:

    • Perform incoming pre-production vehicle check-ins, including drive and static audits.

    • Conduct simple validation of features, perform parking lot assessments, and provide feedback.

    • Execute vehicle software reflashes and run scan reports.

    • Stage, clean, refuel, charge (EV), and manage camouflage for pre-production and high-security vehicles.

    • Prepare vehicles for management overnights and team Ride-and-Drive events.

    • Assist in maintaining trailer and truck upfit fleets.

    • Logistics & Field Support:

    • Coordinate hardware retrofits and manage vehicle/part shipping processes.

    • Plan, prepare, and travel on engineering test/validation road trips, maintaining supplies and support equipment.

    • Order, pick up, and deliver parts and vehicles across on-site and off-site locations.

    • Reserve and coordinate track usage for special events.

    Profile

    • High level of personal responsibility, dependability, and attention to detail.

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    • Valid driver's license and comfort driving pre-production or test vehicles.

    • Ability to support flexible schedules, including second-shift hours and travel for road trips.

    • Basic computer proficiency (spreadsheets, databases, and issue tracking tools).
