SUMMARY
The Engineering Coordinator completes activities related to the generation, maintenance and control of engineering documentation, master data to meet engineering design and process parameters and customer requirements. Documentation includes Bill of Materials, Manufacturing Routers, Process Control Documents, Final Inspection reports, Control plans, part drawings etc.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Execute changes directed by Engineering Change Orders (ECO) or Design Control Routers (DCR) to update documentation revisions and ERP system information.
- Update and maintain process documentation under the direction of Engineering to ensure manufacturing and operational processes reflect current standards and requirements.
- Perform material master, Bill of Materials (BOM), router maintenance and configuration management functions in SAP ERP system.
- Create and maintain engineering and manufacturing documentation, including Control Plans, Process Control Documents, Bills of Materials, Manufacturing Routers, and related records using engineering databases and systems.
- Review customer and purchase order requirements, including quality clauses and contractual obligations, and coordinate actions necessary to ensure compliance.
- Develop, utilize, and continuously improve tools and processes that support master data management and document control activities, including routing change forms, material master data entry templates, and mass update tools.
- Identify, implement, and coordinate continuous improvement activities related to master data, document control, and other engineering processes.
- Perform engineering and configuration management tasks as required in support of Engineers. ie. Drawing justification, validation (checking), critical design review, Documents Review Requests etc.
- Provide engineering and configuration management support by performing tasks such as drawing justification, validation and verification, critical design review support, Document Review Requests and other technical administrative activities as required.
- Other duties as required in support of the department and the Company.
SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES
This role does not include direct supervisory responsibility for other employees. However, it provides opportunities for professional growth and advancement.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Associate's degree in a technical, business, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Experience in engineering support, master data management, configuration management, document control, or a related technical administrative role preferred.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English

- Ability to interpret technical data including engineering change orders, customer drawings, specifications, and related documentation and execute change requests efficiently without error.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, organize workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across Engineering, Planning, Production, Quality and Sales teams.
- Ability to learn and become proficient in engineering and configuration management databases used to create and maintain documentation, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and manufacturing routers.
- Ability to become proficient at advanced configuration database software used to create documentation, BOMs and routers. Familiar with and able to become proficient in ERP system/Master data maintenance.
- Experience with, or the ability to become proficient in, ERP systems and master data maintenance; SAP experience preferred.
- Strong Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate documentation and data integrity.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and continuous improvement skills with the ability to identify process improvement opportunities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
As part of their job duties, the employee must be able to sit, stand, and walk throughout the day while frequently using their hands to handle objects and communicate verbally. Additionally, they may need to reach, stretch, push, pull, crouch, stoop, and occasionally lift objects weighing up to twenty (20) pounds.
