Job Title: Engineering CAD Designer
Duration-10 Month+ Contract

Location: Glendale, AZ (Onsite/Hybrid)
Schedule: Part-Time (2–3 days/week, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)

Pay Rate :$75-80/Hour on W2

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Engineering CAD Designer to support factory engineering projects by creating and maintaining AutoCAD 2D/3D drawings for architectural, mechanical, and electrical systems. The role involves developing equipment layouts, process flow diagrams, P&IDs, fabrication drawings, and factory layouts while collaborating with engineering and operations teams. The ideal candidate will have experience with Autodesk Inventor, industrial/manufacturing environments, engineering documentation, and drawing standards. Knowledge of SAP, BIM360, or AutoCAD Construction Cloud (ACC) is a plus.

Required Skills:

  • 4–6 years of CAD design experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D
  • Experience with Autodesk Inventor
  • Plant layout, mechanical, electrical, and fabrication drawings
  • P&IDs and process flow diagrams
  • Strong documentation and drafting skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • SAP experience is a plus
  • Willingness to travel up to 10–20% as needed
