The candidate will ensure that all processes and functions under their control perform correctly
and efficiently. The candidate will utilize known engineering theories and principles and apply
them towards inventory management and problems encountered by the company. The primary goal
will be to increase productivity and reduce the company's use of time, energy, and materials.
Duties and Responsibilities
" Apply theories and principles of science and mathematics to research and develop
economical solutions to technical problems.
" Read blueprints and project plans, and make recommendations to improve efficiency,
safety, structural integrity, and reliability in the construction of livestock confinement
facilities.
" Make design and installation modifications, when necessary, with the approval of the
General Contractor and the General Contractor's engineers.
" Consult with General Contractors to ensure that design modifications do not jeopardize the
structural integrity or functionality of the project.
" Provide administrative support by preparing project management and meeting reports.
" Manage all project documentation, including contracts, budgets, schedules, equipment
deliveries, and plans.
" Communicate daily with site supervisors, laborers, and project managers.
" Track on-site inventory of materials, tools, and equipment.
" Use mathematical principles to determine the materials, tools, and equipment required to
perform the scope of work outlined in project plans and contracts.
" Conduct weekly on-site safety meetings and prepare daily reports.
