Job Summary
Seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to support product design, development, testing, and analysis for projects of moderate scope. The role works within a cross-functional engineering team to develop solutions, validate designs, improve existing systems, and deliver projects within cost, quality, and schedule requirements.
Key Responsibilities
· Plan, coordinate, and perform product design, development, testing, and analysis.
· Develop and implement engineering solutions and perform feasibility testing to validate designs.
· Analyze technical information and contribute to engineering standards, specifications, and processes.
· Develop and maintain high-quality technical and user documentation.
· Analyze data trends and prepare information to support engineering and business decisions.
· Execute engineering designs using appropriate tools, methods, processes, and software.
· Implement, test, evaluate, and continuously improve engineering solutions.
· Identify issues in existing systems and processes and support change management initiatives.
· Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and external suppliers/partners.
· Support manufacturing/process improvements while maintaining required cost and quality standards.
· Deliver small- to medium-scale engineering projects within established plans.
· Identify, assess, and manage project risks, scope changes, schedules, and progress.
· Perform engineering inspections and support compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements.
· Provide technical guidance to team members and support personnel when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
· Strong knowledge of engineering design, development, testing, and implementation.
· Ability to analyze data and identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities.
· Experience using engineering software, tools, and development processes.
· Ability to develop technical specifications and documentation.
· Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
· Knowledge of project management, risk management, change management, and scope control.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
· Understanding of safe systems of work and engineering quality requirements.
