Summary:
This position will report to the Engineering Manager leading the Process Engineering team supporting the Central Texas Operations organization. Primary focus is to provide Process Engineering and Optimization support to Gathering and Processing facilities:
Candidate will also evaluate, scope and execute small to medium capital projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily listed below:
Perform and support upfront engineering activities for assigned facilities.
Work with plant, frac and terminal operations personnel to help improve plant operations.
Maintain facility process simulations and work with other process engineers to develop process solutions while following engineering standards, code compliance, company and safety standards, and good engineering practices.
Provide engineering design and project management for assigned projects in accordance with Company specifications, industry standards and Federal regulations.
Assist with Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs), Layers of Protection Analyses (LOPAs), and other process safety reviews.
Support OSHA PSM-required activities, including preparation and maintenance of Process Safety Information, resolution of open PHA action items, and PSV studies
Assist in project planning activities such as cost estimating, schedule development, procurement coordination, contractor oversight, and progress tracking.
Proactively seek opportunities to expand process engineering knowledge and develop technical proficiencies.
