This role will be located in either Rancho Bernardo, CA or Palmdale, CA .Roles And ResponsibilitiesApply engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, test, and evaluate systemsPerform trade studies, engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentationActively participate in the efforts associated with Agile development, including release planning, sprint planning, scrum and retrospectiveWork in an integrated team environment with other systems, software (SW), and specialty engineers to develop solutionsPrepare technical presentations for management and stakeholders and communicate clearly and effectively the technical approaches and findingsReview Test Plans and Procedures for requirements verification and support system integration and test of complex systems, including evaluating integration and test anomalies and assisting disposition and correction of issuesAddress interface and functionality problems between SW components and/or hardware (HW)Work with the SW and infrastructure teams to correct or improve capabilitiesDevelop requirements for the subsystem and SRS/HRS specifications through use of MBSE tools & DOORSDevelop architecture and designs of complex HW and SW systems, including requirements traceability and implementation assessmentContribute to an implementation that includes the ability to analyze high-level needs and define a structured and logical approach to refine the capability into an integrated set of requirements that led to a fielded productSupport the development and review of interface documents (ICDs), requirements, Verification Cross Reference Matrix (VCRM), architectural documentation, system engineering estimates, and author and perform formal and informal engineering reviewsThe selected candidate will be required to work full-time, on-site at our facility. Travel up to 25% may be required.Position may be filled at either level 2 or level 3 depending on qualifications below.Basic Qualifications For Level 2T02 Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline and 2 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master's degree in a STEM disciplineBasic Qualifications For Level 3T03 Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline and 5 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 3 years of related engineering experience; OR a PhD in a STEM discipline and 1 year of related engineering experienceBasic Qualifications For Both LevelsActive DoD Top Secret clearance (with a background investigation within the past 5 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)Ability to obtain and maintain initial Special Program Access (SAP/PAR). This SAP/PAR must be obtained prior to commencement of employment and within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needsNote: SAP/PAR will be upgraded once selected candidate is in role. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
