Must Have Technical/Functional Skills:
- Core Technologies: Java (8/11/17+), Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and REST/OpenAPI.
- Kafka & Streaming: Deep understanding of Apache Kafka brokers, topics, partitions, offsets, Kafka Streams, or Confluent ecosystems.
- Databases: Strong proficiency in SQL and NoSQL querying and data modeling.
- Cloud & Tools: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud services like AWS Services or Azure DevOps.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Event-Driven Architecture: Design, build, and manage Kafka producers, consumers, topics, partitions, consumer groups, and schema governance.
- Java & Microservices: Develop scalable enterprise applications and RESTful APIs using Core Java (Java 8+) and Spring Boot.
- Data Integration: Work with relational and NoSQL databases (such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB) and message serialization formats like Avro, Protobuf, or JSON.
- Performance & Reliability: Tune Kafka and Java applications for high availability, fault tolerance, low latency, and high-throughput data ingestion.
- DevOps & CI/CD: Partner with DevOps teams using Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, or cloud platforms
- (AWS/Azure) to manage build pipelines and deployments.
- Troubleshooting & Testing: Perform root-cause analysis on production issues, participate in code reviews, and write automated unit/integration tests
Salary Range - $100,000-$120,000 a year
