Roles & Responsibilities:
- Application Development: Write clean, maintainable code to build new features and maintain existing Android apps.
- UI/UX Implementation: Translate wireframes, mockups, and design specifications into responsive layouts and widgets using tools like Constraint Layout and RecyclerView. [1, 2]
- API & Backend Integration: Connect applications to RESTful web services, JSON data sources, and third-party libraries (e.g., Retrofit, RxJava). [1, 2]
- Testing & Debugging: Perform unit testing, instrumentation testing, and automated testing (e.g., JUnit, Espresso) to fix bugs and ensure app stability. [1, 2]
- Performance Optimization: Monitor live app performance, reduce latency, eliminate memory leaks, and ensure security across different device models. [1]
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and QA testers
Salary Range - $100,000-$120,000 a year
