We are seeking a seasoned engineering professional to lead our team within the Engineering & Construction Business Unit in beautiful Juno Beach, FL. This role involves leading a team of engineers and technical specialists, applying diversified engineering principles, and directing projects related to renewable generation substation projects.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee renewable generation substation projects from conception to commissioning.
• Collaborate with project managers and development groups during the conceptual phase.
• Plan, coordinate, and complete large-scale or complex projects within budget and schedule guidelines.
• Develop detailed work plans, schedules, estimates, and resource plans.
• Conduct project meetings and track project progress and analysis.
• Provide technical oversight and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Secure and manage resources, budgets, risks, and changes using formal processes and tools.
• Coordinate engineering deliverables for competitive requests and awarded projects.
• Support commissioning activities and ensure projects are implemented efficiently and safely.
• Provide coaching and leadership to project teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in substation design and engineering of high voltage projects.
• Project Engineering and/or Project Management experience.

Preferences

• Certified Professional Engineer (PE).
• Six Sigma Black, Green, or Yellow Belt Certification.
• PMP certification.
