Volt is immediately hiring an Direct HireEngineer Land Development in Santa Clarita CA.As anEngineer you will Support the design and development of land development projects including grading drainage utility and roadway improvements. Prepare engineering calculations plans and technical documents for project deliverables. Assist with project planning budgeting scheduling and coordination efforts. Apply engineering principles and industry standards to develop practical design solutions. Perform QAQC reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness of engineering work. Collaborate with project managers engineers drafters and clients throughout project execution. Assist in evaluating design alternatives and resolving technical challenges. Provide guidance and support to entry-level engineers and drafting staff as needed.This is a full-time direct hire opportunity.The ideal candidate will haveRequired Skills & Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university. 2 years of experience supporting land development projects. Working knowledge of site grading stormwater utility and roadway design principles. Proficiency with CADD engineering software and Microsoft Office applications. Strong understanding of engineering calculations design practices and technical documentation. Experience performing QAQC reviews on engineering deliverables. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting project schedules and budgets.Preferred Skills & Qualifications Engineer-in-Training EIT certification. Progress toward obtaining Professional Engineer PE licensure. Experience working on commercial residential or mixed-use land development projects.
