    Title: Engineer III
    Location: Taylor Mill, KY

    Hire Type: Direct Hire

    Target Salary: $65,000-75,000
    Bonus/ Incentives/ Stock Options: up to 10% annual bonus

    Job Summary: Responsible for the design, development, and documentation of mechanical components and assemblies. This role requires strong mathematical aptitude, proficiency in CAD software such as Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD, and effective use of Microsoft Office tools to communicate and document engineering work.

    Job Duties:

    • Develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD
    • Apply mathematical principles including algebra, geometry, and trigonometry to solve design problems
    • Perform tolerance analysis and calculations
    • Prepare engineering documentation such as drawings and bills of materials (BOMs)
    • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to ensure designs meet requirements
    • Revise and improve existing designs based on feedback, testing, or field performance
    • Maintain organized project files and documentation using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
    • Using LN MRP system to create and maintain Bills of Material
    • Create Engineering Change Notices 

    Qualifications:

    • Associate’s degree or higher in a related field, or its equivalent in a combination of formal education and direct work experience
    • Strong mathematical skills with the ability to apply calculations to real-world engineering problems
    • Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor for 3D modeling and assemblies
    • Working knowledge of AutoCAD for 2D layouts and legacy drawings
    • Competency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel for calculations and data analysis, and Word for documentation
    • Understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
    • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
