Target Hiring Ranges Based on Experience:

Engineer Level III: $75,975.75.00 - $108,712.88

Engineer Levels I - II: $66,080.81 - $94,540.40

This position reviews and approves commercial site, subdivision development, and city plans to ensure compliance with local and state stormwater regulations. Responsibilities include analyzing proposed stormwater management systems, preparing technical review comments, providing professional guidance to consultants, developers, and city staff, and verifying projects were constructed according to approved plans. Virginia DEQ stormwater certifications must be obtained within one year.
