What You'll Do
As an I&C Engineer 3, you will apply engineering principles to design and implement safe, reliable, and efficient control systems while supporting project teams and clients.
You will:
Apply instrumentation, controls, and electrical engineering principles to support multidisciplinary project execution
Design, specify, and integrate instrumentation and control systems for industrial and process facilities
Develop and review key I&C deliverables, including:
Instrument and I/O Lists
Wiring and interconnection schematics
Instrumentation and control system specifications
Loop diagrams
Control panel layouts
Assist in the development and review of control narratives, cause-and-effect matrices, and system functional descriptions
Perform instrument sizing, selection, and specification for process measurement and control applications
Support PLC, DCS, SCADA, and plant control system design efforts
Coordinate with process, mechanical, electrical, civil, and piping disciplines to support integrated project execution
Participate in client meetings, design reviews, HAZOP studies, and technical workshops
Identify and help resolve technical issues while ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements
Provide guidance and support to junior engineers and designers as appropriate
Support project execution activities, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and quality reviews
Support startup activities, commissioning efforts, and field investigations as required
