    Job Title: Engineer II (Service Engineer)

    Location: Skaneateles, NY

    Duration: 9 Months

    Pay Rate: $50 $52/hour (W2)

    Work Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

    Work Model: Hybrid (2 3 days onsite)

    Travel Requirement: Occasional travel (approximately two trips during the project)

    Potential Travel Locations: Raleigh, NC, and Deerfield, IL.

    Job Description

    Engineer II (Service Engineer) will work closely with domestic and international R&D teams, product owners, and cross-functional stakeholders to design, develop, and implement service processes that support product delivery, installation, deployment, maintenance, and customer support activities.

    The role is responsible for creating service documentation, developing training programs, establishing workflows, and executing the transfer of service designs to operational teams. The engineer will also provide hands-on technical support throughout the product lifecycle, including post-market support and customer escalations.

    Core Responsibilities

    • Design and develop service processes to support product delivery, installation, deployment, and servicing activities.
    • Create and maintain service engineering documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
    • Develop and deliver technical training for support teams and solution architects.
    • Provide Tier 3 technical support and manage customer escalations.
    • Support product deployments, upgrades, and post-market activities.
    • Collaborate with R&D, operations, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
    • Ensure compliance with FDA, ISO, IEC, and design control requirements.

    Required Skills

    • 2 5 years of technical experience in an R&D or engineering environment.
    • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer support skills.
    • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, DevOps, Jira, and tracking systems.
    • Knowledge of product lifecycle management, design transfer, and requirements analysis.
    • Understanding of FDA, ISO, IEC, and new product development processes.
