Responsible for performing a wide variety of analysis and project-oriented engineering activities related to ensuring proper device coordination and protection for distribution devices; self-healing networks and other automated transfer schemes; and risk mitigation within the electrical distribution system.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Discipline (typically Electrical, Mechanical, Civil and Chemical, Industrial) from four year accredited institution. Degrees in Engineering Technology (typically, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, and Industrial) from a four-year accredited institution with PE may be considered. Preferred: Electrical Engineering Degree
Minimum Experience: Engineer I: 0 - 2 years of experience in an engineering discipline Engineer II: 2 - 4 years of experience in an engineering discipline Engineer III: 4 - 6 years of experience in an engineering discipline Engineer Sr.: 6 + years of experience in an engineering discipline

Ability to recognize hazards in the workplace and have the ability to mitigate the hazards. Ability to meet the public in a pleasant and tactful manner and understand the importance of delivering a high level of customer service. Demonstrated acceptance of a diverse and inclusive work environment and customer base. Ability to recognize opportunities for process improvement and have the ability to enact change. Ability to respond to significant outage restoration events that may require a significant amount of time away from home via both on system and off system responses.
