Coordinates and performs a basic level of engineering activities related to providing support for Maximum Allowable Operating Pressure(MAOP) Records Verifications, MAOP Reconfirmation projects, and material verifications. Responsibilities include reviewing installation documentation, pressure tests, material specifications, and drawings, as well as developing MAOP Reconfirmation projects. Education Requirements
Bachelor''s degree in Engineering discipline required.
Experience
Working knowledge of piping plan standards and related governmental regulations.
Demonstrated ability with application of math, algebraic formulas, calculus, and statistics.
Experience in use and function of office equipment including computers and software such as AutoCAD, Stoner, Excel, Access, and/or other relevant software.
Experience and training related to:
Interpersonal/communication skills
Customer services field policies and procedures
Transmission/distribution pipeline operations
Company/governmental operating and safety procedures
Line extension and relocation policies and procedures
Demonstrated ability to identify, research, evaluate, and prioritize problems or specific situations and coordinate appropriate action/response.
Demonstrated ability to research and prepare pipeline construction contracts, pipeline capacity lease (PCL) requests, budget projects, job orders, material requisitions, engineering studies, and correspondence.
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret governmental regulations, blueprints, contracts, manuals, specifications, charts, surveys, load studies, and various reports and correspondence.
Demonstrated ability to interact, negotiate, advise, and communicate effectively.
Demonstrated ability to develop information and make presentations to groups and individuals.
Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English.
Licenses and Certifications
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred.
Applicable driver''s license required.

Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.
