Engineer

Rima Manufacturing is looking to add one more Engineer to our team!

We’ve recently added some great new engineering talent, and for this remaining position, we’re specifically looking for an Industrial or Mechanical Engineer with prior hands-on manufacturing experience who can bring practical knowledge to our growing team.

This is NOT a desk-only engineering position. You’ll have a desk, but you’ll also spend a significant amount of time on the shop floor working directly with production, troubleshooting issues, improving processes, and helping turn ideas into results.

️ We’re especially interested in experience with:
• CNC and/or CAM machining
• Tooling and tooling design
• Speeds & feeds
• Tool layouts
• Bar machines / bar machining
• Manufacturing process improvement
• Troubleshooting production and quality issues

You don’t necessarily need experience in every area above, but prior manufacturing experience is important for this opening.

Our engineers work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, customers, and other departments on process improvements, new projects, cost reductions, quality issues, machine and tooling improvements, and more.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Industrial or Mechanical Engineering background preferred
• At least 2-5 years previous manufacturing/production experience required
• Strong hands-on problem-solving and communication skills

A note about our work environment:
This position regularly works on the manufacturing floor. Required PPE includes hearing protection and safety glasses, which Rima provides, along with slip-resistant shoes provided by the employee. After 90 days, employees are eligible for our Prescription Safety Glass Program and Safety Shoe Reimbursement Program.
