This individual must possess strong trouble-shooting skills in all areas of maintenance in guest rooms, meeting space, and front-of-the-house areas, as well as back-of-house areas including kitchen, laundry, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems, using a windows-based computer system.

    The Hyatt Regency Denver Tech Center is a 4-Star Full Service 451-room Hotel with 30,000 square feet of conference space, and we are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer. We are conveniently located within the Hampden South neighborhood @ I-25 and 225 in the tech center.

    The Engineering department is responsible for assisting with the oversight of the operation of the hotel, consisting of 451 rooms and 30,000 sq. ft. of meeting space. This individual must possess strong trouble-shooting skills in all areas of maintenance in guest rooms, meeting space, and front-of-the-house areas, as well as back-of-house areas including kitchen, laundry, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems, using a windows-based computer system. The ability to read blueprints and schematics is also required. A minimum of 2 years of building maintenance experience is required, with hotel experience preferred. Strong working knowledge of all major building systems, including life-safety systems, is required for this position. Good communication skills are necessary. Additionally, this position requires strong leadership skills, and a willingness to work different shifts as the demands of business dictates.
