Skill: Senior Engineer - AppViewX CLM & PKI
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills:
- We are seeking an experienced AppViewX Certificate Lifecycle Management (CLM) & PKI Engineer to support enterprise certificate management, certificate lifecycle automation, PKI operations, and application onboarding initiatives.
- The candidate will play a key role in ensuring secure issuance, deployment, renewal, governance, and monitoring of certificates across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience supporting PKI, TLS/SSL Certificates, or Certificate Lifecycle Management platforms.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with AppViewX CLM administration and engineering.
- Strong understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Certificate Authorities, TLS/SSL, CRL, OCSP, and cryptographic key management.
- Experience implementing certificate automation and DevSecOps integrations.
- Experience with PowerShell, Python, REST APIs, Ansible, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Windows, Linux, Azure, Kubernetes, IIS, Apache, WebLogic, and F5 environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, or related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AppViewX Certified Professional/Administrator Certification.
- Microsoft Azure Security Certifications.
- CISSP, CCSP, Security+, or equivalent security certifications.
Experience with ServiceNow integrations and enterprise-scale certificate environments.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Certificate Lifecycle Management:
- Administer and support the AppViewX CLM platform.
- Manage certificate discovery, issuance, renewal, revocation, deployment, monitoring, and retirement processes.
- Maintain certificate inventory and remediate expiring, unmanaged, and non-compliant certificates.
- Ensure adherence to enterprise security and governance standards.
AppViewX Administration & Application Onboarding
- Configure workflows, policies, certificate authority integrations, reporting, notifications, and access controls.
- Lead application onboarding and certificate automation initiatives.
- Partner with application, infrastructure, cloud, and security teams to design certificate management solutions.
- Support integrations across Windows, Linux, Azure, Kubernetes, IIS, Apache, WebLogic, F5, Kafka, Solace, and other enterprise platforms.
Automation & PKI Operations:
- Develop automati on using AppViewX APIs, REST APIs, PowerShell, Python, Ansible, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps.
- Support enterprise PKI infrastructure including Certificate Authorities (CA), CRL, OCSP, and key management services.
- Participate in platform upgrades, resiliency testing, disaster recovery exercises, and major incident resolution.
- Drive automation and process improvements to reduce operational risk and manual effort.
Operational Support & Governance:
- Provide L2/L3 support for certificate lifecycle, PKI, and TLS/SSL-related issues.
- Troubleshoot certificate deployment, renewal, trust chain, and application integration issues.
- Support audits, compliance reviews, risk remediation activities, and security governance initiatives.
Develop and maintain runbooks, operational procedures, architecture documents, and onboarding guides.
Salary Range - $100,000-$120,000 a year
